Nvm I just changed the URL to have registration.php on the end instead of index.php and it worked. Will update on registration process as I go through it.
Currently filling in the registration form.

Edit: registration went through fine! I'll be updating my signature to include my air child banner soon.

Yay. I tried doing a flight today, hit turbulence and the autopilot made me over speed, because of that fspassengrs crashed the flight with the force

Loving the concept behind Air-Child. I certainly have to look into this.

Would add an extra flavor to the game to (virtually) fly UNICEF aid to Nepal and such, and knowing it's for a good cause outside the virtual world as well.

Just did a flight and filled it for them on the maldair steam multiplayer server because I couldn't be bothered with vatsim today. Looks like I'll be the one
hogging Sally Armstrong as Im using her for my flights, did egll to egcc today and already booked Sally for egcc to egll.

Alright, I looked into Air-Child and signed up. Can't access the forum though. Sent an email about it, but not heard anything for three days.

Also, looking through the forum threads and such it seems quite dated. No quarterly reports for a year+ and mostly just a few members that keep posts recent.

Is the Air-Child concept deadpanned?

From what I can tell with responses and updated (or lack of updating) info, not counting regular member chat, it seems whoever was behind the wheel is no longer
running it.

Would be nice to know before I take it any further and put it up on a stream and such, only to then learn that it's a bygone.

Any info would be appreciated.

Ps. Posting here cause, as mentioned, I can't even access the AC forum...

In some sense you are correct. The main admins. have been very busy in their personal lives and have not been able to devote much time to ACH.
However, they are looking at the prospect of adding some bodies to help out with the website.. That would be a step in the right direction of course.
The VA doesn't appear to be going in a spiral of death as far as I can tell. I will continue to do ACH flights until they decide to disband...when or
if that will ever be.
As far as the forum goes, not every forum section has recent activity but most sections do....in July and Aug. 2015. Without being logged into ACH, I
was able to access the forum topics, so I don't know why there was a problem accessing it on your end.

Air child had a server hosting change so they are probably busy getting everything running well on the website and their personal lives. I know that the forums
are completely dead as I saw a post after the registration system was re inserted.

Is ACH known for how many people post on the forum each day or is the purpose to generate as many flights per day as possible for Unicef?
I pick the latter.

I can access the forums, as in, read stuff.

I can't Login though, even though I am logged in with my ACH account to access all the other stuff on the site.

Anyways, I'll guess I'll have to make do without the forums.

As far as the flights go though I thought you could fly any airplane you wanted?

My FSPassenger rank is only C4 and using MEPs (C404 Titan right now), so i can't fly the DHC6 yet... and DHC7 I have never even seen as an addon airplane besides
an age-old freeware download.

Do I really have to be able to fly the exact same airplanes when booking flights or can I just fly whatever I want as long as it follows the booked flight route?

These are things I'd like to ask in the AC forum, but without being able to login I can't post.

When you are logged in to ACH and click on the forum tab on the left hand side of page, it should take you to the sign in for the forums. is your name
and password already showing? Mine always do and I don't have to input those items. All I have to do is click to enter the forums. If entering your
name and password are not working then maybe there is a issue and have to wait for admin to get back with you.

No, you don't have to fly the exact same airplane. You can fly any aircraft you want. The route of flight is up to you as well if you are flying a
charter. Either way, you can fly any aircraft you want on scheduled or Charter.
