Automatically IRF/VFR Arrival

Does FSP automatically select arrival method between IRF and VFR according to weather?

No, how you arrive is totally up to you...as long as you land at the scheduled airport with the required fuel reserves for VFR or IFR flight.

I always thought, that if I fly ifr and there is possibility to land by vfr (good weather) then its up to Tower or ATC to choose approach. I have
played some fsx scenario flight and there copilot tells some kind "we will surley be instructed to land VFR" - just like it doesnt depend on
pilots.

If you are using the default ATC, you may get vectored all over the place. I never liked the default ATC and went with Radar Contact 4 for FSX and
FS9. A much better ATC program:

Is it really worth those money?

Today I was again instructed by ATC to approach VFR

That's the problem with the default ATC. I never would use it. Yes, Radar Contact 4 IS worth the money if you want more realism in the ATC world.
If you are still in IFR conditions during an approach, it doesn't make any sense for ATC to instruct you to go VFR. Not possible and not legal in the
real world. "Cannot comply" is the best answer and continue on IFR plan.

Ok, I will consider purchase then. Currently I have just bought MyTraffic 6 , and REX Essential Plus Override. Do You have any expirience with this software? They are still
downloading so I don't know yet what I purchased exactly

I don't have MT6 but do have MT Pro for FSX and MT for P3D. I like them both but can be a bit daunting to navigate through in order to get things set
correctly. In P3D, MT puts ALOT of AI even if you have 20% configured within MT interface. I don't know if the latest version of MT does the same
thing. Best thing to do is read the documentation on how to configure it.

I had REX w/ OD and it's a fine product. You won't be disappointed with the clouds, sky textures,etc. I now use REX Texture Direct. Equally as good!

Joe, what about PFE instead of RC?

I wish that I knew more about PFE to give you any insight on the program. Sorry.
In the meantime, you can look at some lengthy discussions from Avsim. They are quite old but you see comparisons between RC4, VoxATC and PFE that

Of course you can always Google the various topics about PFE and read up-to-date reviews about it.

My last idea was PRO-ATC X. But I dont know will it cooperate with FSP and REX. I wish to what do You think, Capitan?
