Hi Dan,

First I just want to say you sorry for my English, I'm French ;-), and I want to say that I loved fspx when I played on fsx. And now I decided to use P3d, I was fed up by fsx crash. And you know I miss
so so so much fspx, and was so sad to see that it don't work on p3d.

But I just reed before that now you will work on it and it make me really happy.

If you need any kind of help to make it work I'm here :-).

About the release date... it should not be too long (1-3 weeks?), but I'm a perfectionist.
I plan to do a public beta some day before the release, the beta will be open to anyone to see if no horrible bug show on some systems.

-In any case, if you have bought an unlock code (and can retrieve it), you don't need to purchase again FsPassengersX. It will work for both steam and microsoft version of FSX. (It's the same download that work for both versions)

-I'm in contact with Nick from Dovetail about a steam store version. I'll see that after the initial release. I don't know if steam store can provide
FsPassengersX unlock code to customers (as do simmarket and flightsimstore) or if I must modify the whole protection. In this later case that
would make to much work and complication, FsPassengersX would probably never be available at steam store.

-For new customers I'll make a special rebate the first week of sales, so stay tuned and spread the word

-The Prepar3D will be a different version that everyone will have to purchase again. (Why not "FsPassengers3D" ? )

-I'm updating yet the documentation and solve the lasts bugs and details, if nothing serious come up from the testers the next beta will probably be ready for public beta.

i would like it if you could transfer all of your fsx data over to p3d. That way you don't loose your progress

Yes.

-Since the FsPassengers 2004 version you can continue your progression with the same flight database and this will continue on steam and on Prepar3D. All is planned since the first version so I can add new value without breaking the compatibility.

-If FsPassengers is still installed in FSX, the installer will take care to migrate your data to the new location. ("user/public/document/FsPassengers")

If you have both the Microsoft and the STEAM version, both will use the same FsPassengers folder, mean you can make flight alternatively on steam and on microsoft version.

When FsPassengers3D will be out, you'll be able to make flights on the three simulators, all flights will be registered into the same database.

This would be awesome since not all of the aircraft are transferable to p3d.. Ty Dan for the info!!!!!!!

DEV NEWS: THE SILVER BETA

I'm solving one later bug with a third party addon but once done I think I'll issue a silver beta .
This mean that all the files are almost final in this release and I'll ask the testers, to track all the mistake, wrong text, unprofessional looking stuff and details in every aspects.

Once all report of the silvers beta corrected, I'll issue a gold beta, the release candidate. If nothing serious show on this one, it will be (probably) posted as public beta, and if nothing too serious show also it will be the final release.

5 to 10 days until release I think.

DEV NEWS:

Just changed the pilot's flight log to show also airport name. I will maybe add a check button to switch between Airport and country name.
The flight report look better like this imho. (work in progress)
