I was just curious on how I get more passengers per flight. I'm still only at 120 passengers and the plane I'm flying now can hold up to 300. How do I get there?

More flights gives you a higher reputation, which makes more people want to fly with you. Also make sure your ticket prices are very low and
attractive to consumers, but not so low you don't turn a profit!!!! And, I start my airlines by doing lots of tiny short flights (10 minutes minimum) to build my reputation quickly. I got from 65% to 95% in only 6 hours doing flights aboard large aircraft over very short distances!

Ignore the advice about a 10 minute airline. If you have a plane capable of 300 pax, then use it. Make your ticket price attractive and fly
good routes. Reputation is only part of the equation, The other part is pilot experience, no one wants to fly on an airline in which the chief pilot has 6 hours and hasn't reached C1 yet. ![]() ![]() If it's stupid, but it works, it isn't stupid.

O.O that's weird I always have a full plane with my C3 pilot... only 95% rep...

You should consider yourself very lucky. I've never heard of anyone having 100% occupancy on every flight (other than a two seat plane).

So how does one over-ride this feature? With all the over-ride options there has to be one for this.

The only "over-ride" feature available for this is to fly, fly, fly and fly some more from each airport until your reputation is 100% at each airport
and your ticket prices are reasonable enough to give a full load of passengers.

I have been using FSPassengers for a couple of years now. Over this time i have had to reinstall and start all over three times. In this time the
highest my rep has ever been in 98% and this is with Eaglesoft's Citation X which according to FSPassengers holds 12 people. I only see 8 seats in the plane but I don't care because I have been able to fit 8 people and that is all I need, don't care about 12. There are times that I have seen if I started say a VA and was just acting as the pilot the program would automatically start off with a full load available so I know it can be done somehow. Realistically if I own a Citation X and it is my first flight ever carrying passengers and there are 10 people that have rented me and my plane then I should be able to carry them all. The FAA is not going to step in and tell me since this is my first money making flight as a new business owner of my own airline that I can only carry 5 people until i get some seat time. Another thing is when you buy a ticket through any airline you have no idea how many hours those pilots have. The airline can't even tell you who will be flying their plane the day of your flight. So why does FSPassengers take control of how many people will buy my tickets? A private jet is mostly rented by one group, so how ever many people are in that group from 1 to 10 should be able to have a seat. Post Edited ( 11-24-12 22:00 )

It also depends on how often you flew from the departure airport. Even with little change in reputation, the yield with rise with the 5th or 6th
start from a particular airport. The three major influences are: - Reputation - Ticket prices - number of starts from the particular airport, If you have ticket prices in the mid-range, a good rep and a popular airport, you can expect load of 80% and higher. A 100% load can probably be reached only by lowering prices to Ryanair'esque levels. I do however often reach 17/18 loads in a Trislander on airports that I serve regularily.
