[SOLVED] Failure of flight instruments is not an emergency?!

Hello,
I am flying with fspassengers x (FSX) since 5 or 6 flights, and today there was the first "emergency" caused by fspassengers, i think.
Suddenly the speedometer in my cessna failed permanently, so i pushed the emergency button in the fspassengers display after some time. After this i
landed savely on the nearest airport. i opened the door and the passengers were happy
Then i have ended the flight and looked into the evaluation: 800 penalty points (no emergency, landed on the wrong airport and other reasons) + 5000$
for an incorrectly estimated emergency!?
Okay, it wasn't an engine failure or something like that, but in the reality they wouldn't fly 200 more kilometers with an incorrect working flight
instrument, too, isn't it
i am confused a little bit..., what did i do wrong?

I have to ask if your pitot heat was turned on and what was the maintenance status of your plane? Next time you lose an instrument hit
Shift + Z and you can see a digital readout of altitude, heading, and airspeed at the top of the screen.
Also, just because you may think something is an emergency doesn't make it so in flying world. I don't mean to sound grumpy but that's
just the way it is.

the pitot heat was turned off, the maintenance status was 99%. I was flying in the night with real weather conditions somewhere over munich. Do you
think something was iced? But i see, the Emergency button is only for real emergencys, after landing i heard sirenes of police, ambulance,...,... but
this was really not necessary...

Your pitot heat was turned off, when flying at night? Pitot should always be on in light aircraft once passing 3000 feet.

OH OH, i haven't known this! Now we have found the reason of the failure.
i think i have changed the reality-settings in the FSX a week ago, so i never had this failures before.
Thank you! maybe i should have a look into the FSX flightschool

There are a few things FSX wil lfail for you if you dont operate them correctly. the Pito tube is one example. The engine in the default P-51 is another.

Pito heat should be on when ever icing conditions are present.

Thats visible moisture, and temps below frezing, but i always ad 5deggres to that.
