question about landing ils

Hello,

i play fsx for a few months and since a few days i use fspassengers x :-)

And i really like it

But since i've use fspassengers x i couldnt make a decent landing, i come in at 160 - 180 knts
set the autopilot off use speedbrakes (flaps fully out)

and at the moment when i've hit the runway it says crash :s

I dont get it, i did 100 ils landings and now it doenst work.


am i doing something wrong ?

180 knots is too fast in a 738 to land - you want to be anywhere between 135-155 knts when landing in a 738, with the appropriate flap settings
according to the aircraft's calculated landing weight. Also, you want your vertical speed to ideally be less that 400fps, otherwise you'll end up damaging the aircraft.

Thats not the problem of fsp. Thats because you fail. Try to not use speed brakes during landing, that can be the main cause. I land mine
737-800 like 145 knts maximum with full flaps. Just listen to gprs and when you will hear 50,40,30 pull the nose up, 20 try to descent very
slowly and when you will hear 10 just let the plane glide. And about 50 feet over the runway turn the engines into idle, after touchdown use
reverse trust. But when i read your post carefully... Do you disable the autopilot or you just let the plane go down with autopilot ? Turn off
autopilot 100feet over the rwy and land hands on.

Better yet, turn off the autopilot at around 500 ft. and practice proper pitch, power and speed

ill try lower speed and speed brakes just when i'm on the runway
i see, thats why i get vertical speed that are just to high

Practice the above comments......default fsx is very forgiving when you land badly (you have to be really bad to crash) and FSPassengers can come as
a shock to the system if things aren't done properly - It takes the whole process to another level, which is great!
