no, it mean it's not time for me to get drunk...
![]() Unless you want menu text like "sftart a fdspasseger flitgh" or other odd things ? ![]() NEWS (in anyway) modified the war behaviour (was on my todo list since month) now if you fly straight you have more chance to be hit, mean as in reality you must avoid to fly straight for too long time... (10-20 seconds) artillery will be more precise as time pass if you do that... the "risk" percentage will show it, if you make a sharp turn the level will decrease... Was done in one hours... I'm concentrating mainly on release, (doc, voice, payload model, last bugs, check) 10 days would be almost impossible, but I think it will be ok for christmas (and maybe a cheap pre release some day before as said above) Dan

Dan,
How would you celebrate when FSpX is released ![]()

With more stress
![]() Website update, eventuall problems, press release, advertising, support etc etc. After the unavoidable first patch and all bills paid certainly with a short hollidays trip with my familly. Long time since the last one... But that would not happen before march/april 2009 I think (or worse) Dan

Christmas is fast approaching, hope it comes out soon.
Just out of curiosity, what programming language do you use Dan? Thanks,
Jorge Rojas

C++ and ASM, no simconnect, no fsuipc.
C# would never be able to do such things, simconnect with all respect due is a nightmare. Dan

Hey Dan,
I dont write often, but I come see this site and how things are going with this fantastic looking program of yours a couple of times a week. Reading some posts really made me react and I had to write. Dan, I wanted to say to keep up the good work and take all the time you need to make this program great, also to encourage you to simply delete and not waste your time on losers like nills who wasted almost 2 pages of threads with his inflamatory and useless comments, that only brought anger and nothing good. Also, I wanted to remind some people that quality and nice things cost money, Dan isnt running a charity company, this isnt freeware, if u cant afford a mere 30 something euros fr a great program like this, or if u complain about a mere 5 euro increase in price because that breaks your monthly grocery budget , well I strongly suggest to get an appointment with your financial advisor. I paid almost 100$US for my pmdg 747x, and itll cost me the same or more fr the md-11, quality products are very long and complicated to make especially if u have the words system requirements, vista and fsx in the same sentence, so if fspax X sells fr a mere 30 something euros its almost a joke.... Again, thanks to Dan fr this great upcoming product and for all your patience.

From Here On In... Can We No Longer Bring up the past posts in this topic... and leave it at that...
Moving on... Dan is Brilliant....Anyone to top that? ![]()

From a beta tester's point of view. FsPX is looking great. Dan is working very hard to tie up some lose ends. I think I speak for the other
testers when I say that we really don't want to find any more bugs (even though we are looking for them). We are ready for its release as much as you all are. Dan has added a lot of new features to this program that will make you say "It was worth the wait." Hang in there guys, I think you will have a happy Christmas. Just understand that Dan wants to catch problems now instead of after the release if at all possible. JeffMc ![]() |
