I would like to compare to some other flight sim add-ons:

Fly The Maddog MD-82: €44,95 (simmarket)
VFR London X: €39,95 (aerosoft)
MD-11 for FSX: €59,99 (pmdg)
Level D 767: Approx €34 (flight1)
Flight Environment X for FSX : approx €34 (flight1)
FSPassengers X: €36.90 (N/A)

These six add-ons, taken from various publishers, is best in it´s class, with thousands of users and a high rating on the market.
The average price for an add-on like this is €41,63.
The announced price for FSPX, €36.90, is not very high, which we can see.
Of course, there is add-ons with a lower and a higher price. You know what they say, "You get what you pay for".

money to "upgrade" the few addons I have.

That being said, I will envy every one of you that will get FsPX for the new features it has, and will continue to admire Dan for his hard
work!!

After joining the beta team and seeing the unbelievable effort Dan puts into this and the constant improvements he adds, all I can
say is wow. If he told me tomorrow it will take another 6 months and cost double the price, I would be more than fine with that. If everyone
had the chance to see this, then there would not be a complaint to be heard, I am sure.

Bruce, I completely agree. I would easily wait another 6 months and pay even more. I would have paid Dan in advance last year and would not
complain in the least about the delays because Dan kept us in the loop. You get what you pay for and Dan has a clear reacord of work
that shows he builds excellent software and supports it.

However, given what I have seen on this forum there will always be someone around to complain about something. It seems to be an
immutable law of nature that complainers will appear to find any percieved flaw to complain about.

You guys are just a big pain in the butt!

Nils, no matter how deeply you feel you have points to make the truth is everything you said so far is just too
obvious to even wasting time to post it. Just grow up and get over it: FsPX will be ready in proper time, no sooner
nor later. It will be ready whem Dan finishes his work. And that'sit!

Dan -- Nice job responding to Nils. You have earned a loyal customer base because of your attention to detail, quality products and good
support. That is why when the software is ready my credit card is ready.

This is my first post, even tough I check this forum for about a year now.
I've seen some people putting an unfair extra stress on you, and I bet that some of them have some serious personality problems, or
others are too young to understand the real value of hard work. But I can assure you that your hard work is appreciated by thousands of
people who patiently wait for your awesome add on to be finished and don't post any comments on this forum.
Yes, it has been a long time, but I don't blame you and I'm sure no reasonable person does. It takes time for value. I've spent money for
some crap add ons, and when your product will be released I will buy it regardless the price, because you won my trust ( I'm not rich, I'm a
factory worker).
I wish there will be more people like you.

True, After 3 years as "proffesionnal" I'm still not used to some personnal "attack" I'm ready to discuss things but the tone is
important.

So I decided to cut net such things, first because it waste my time and waste my energy for nothing positive and second because there is
no reason that I accept against me what I would not accept directed to another members or on my freeware forums. Some $ is not an
excuse to become uneducated or contemptuous.

So I made some appropriate "warning" pm and cute some posts (1 that was really bad and 3 that where related reply last night, sorry).

NEWS:

Received a great pilot german voice today, I'm happy (thanks matthias) ... it miss me only one german hostess and french pilot and
hostess but I have some good contact for french.

There will be at least 4 complete english pack (done) maybe 5 ,I'm still waiting the promised voice for this last one. and one in german
and one in french. The final download size will be around 80 megabyte (as planned) with around 2000 files. The total of sounds will be
about 1200. (included voicepack, 134 sound each)

I would still really be very happy to include a loadmaster military attendant voicepack... that could be fun a rough military voice instead of a
nice hostess ... I'll update the voice "post" to ask about that...

If you do need to translate something to portuguese (Brazilian an Portugal portuguese. Yes, Brazilian portuguese is quite different from
portugal portuguese) I can do that. For free, of course.

There is four main concern:

It's very difficult to find peoples that make "good" voicepack, in three years I didn't see one that was really "great" on the more download.
(even when paying and advertising on voice actor site it's difficult, either the quality is horrible or they don't reply or the job is badly done
etc etc)

Second is the size concern, each voicepack add 7mb to the total...

third the doc and all help text and menu to translate are a BIG work that should be "proffesionnal" and it add also to the overal size of
download.

And last each new language or voicepack take a huge time to do, reliable peoples that can make a perfect work is the main problem.

But if you can translate all doc, help text or make a voice pack with a pro quality , why not ?

This is my first post to this forum.......

1st Dan continue your fine work sir, I do not have the previous FSP, only because I have just stated with the flight sim in FSX.

I flew in the Air Force and now find enjoyment between flights with FSX. I am really excited about the release of FSPX.

Money is never really an object for a quality product, as long as your justified people will pay it.

2nd, to those who are crossthreaded about the release date, realize that he just wants to put out a quality product and I respect that!!

His name is on this product and I would want it as perfect as possible as well.

Some will still complain, and thats to be exspected, of course they are the same ones at airports we all see crying the loudest because
the plane is grounded due to weather.

You know what I always wanted to do is get the oldest, run down looking plane on the field, taxi it to a gate, and say well we do not by any
means suggest you fly in this weather, it is extremely dangerous outside but we have one crazy pilot that will take off in this soup, just line
up and sign this we told you not to fly waiver, and tape you name to your ankles and wrist so if you crash we can tell who is who and feel
free to board!!!

Wonder how many would pony up, and after all this there would still be three. THats what really amazes me, so consider the source my
weary friend, and work away.
