my best is -37.7 ft/m in a 747-400
27-07-2008, 08:32 PM
Best here, -4.6ft/min, in a jet air liner.
It was more luck, and rather unexpected. Normally they come about -100-150fpm. Post Edited ( 07-27-08 21:43 )

Does anyone have a "hardest landing"?

300,000 km/sec. Its not just a good idea, its the law.

My best was in a 182S that was -11.5 ft/m (kiss). I also had -66.9 ft/m (kiss) in a Beech Baron 58 and in the Level-D 767 that was -41.5
ft/m (kiss). I have also bent some gear up, these are some of my best.

I discovered the other day that if you bounce on landing (even slightly), FSPax records the bounce vspeed as your landing vspeed. This
would explain many of the super kiss landings noted here, probably even mine! Gary
