I have both and only used Airliner pilot twice. I prefer FSPassengers much more.
![]() Put it this way, Airliner Pilot focuses on your overall career from an "upper management" point of view. Did you fly the correct flight, depart at the right time, fly the right route, the right altitude, etc... FsPassengers is seen from the passengers point of view, is the flight smooth, did you arrive on time, was the service good....it throws emergencies at you and makes you deal with them. You still can be career minded but you get more with FSP...MY OPINION. Maybe if I played with Airliner Pilot more, it would make more sense....I did only try it for two flights and wasn't that impressed. ![]() any case, FSP is here to stay for me. Fredneck

I have no knowledge of airline pilot but I can agree with what other people are saying in that you will use FSP with every single flight you
do. Even if you just want to run a scenario somewhere that you don't normally fly. ![]()

Airliner Pilot is a pretty poor product in my opinion, fspassengers it much more user friendly and allows you to use any add on aircraft where as
airliner pilot is limited. FS Passengers is like haveing Airlierpilot, Airliner Environment all in one

Ask this question in Airline Pilot forum and I bet you will be giving the answer that Airline Pilot is best.

I find it funny that these products are being compared so much. It's like comparing apples to, cars! (Well, maybe not that far out there!.)
FSP simulates passengers on your flight. Airliner pilot simulates a pilot's career with flying for an airline. Not at all the same thing. With Airliner pilot, you start at entry level and work your way up, flying assigned routes by the airline. With FSP, you fly where youy want, when you want but with a plane load of critics, ah, I mean passengers, who react to your performance. Sure, you can build a company with FSP but, the emphasis is on the pax model.

I tried the Airliner Pilot demo, and frankly, wasn't impressed.
I bought FsPassengers (well, Mum bought it for me for Christmas last year!) because I was impressed. |
