First Intercontinental Flight

Today it was my first intercontinetal flight From Amsterdam Schiphol to KJFK (John F. Kennedy Int) . A few questions:

* After 4 times give the passengers eat there are hungry (am i transported bigs of something)
* After 6 times gives the passengers drink they begin a party with the staff (Flight ID Heineken)

I fly in a PDGM B747-400 and i configured it for maximun fuel. But that is not enough for the flight. I think the plane also drinks like the
passengers. Maybe a fault in the fuel configuration any idea's?

On my screen the total fuel counts 151.2 KGSx and my FMC sceems that i have insufficient Fuel.. Why? 1 mile = one litre or something.

I hope that i can land at runway 31L so that i have space enough to land the plane on the runway.

I am now over 7h flying to New York, next time i take the concorde.

Yeah, I agree. I've never had a fuel problem with a 747, I've flown fourteen hour flights with it...

That doesn't sound right at all, I have flown simular routes and had fuel to spare.

btw. what altitude are flying the route?

If it's at like...3000 ft, then yeah, you may burn way too much fuel, lol. But not at a normal cruising altitude.

Did you pre flight the plane to ensure there was no leaks or just kick the tyres? or inadvertently jettison the fuel instead of the drunks in cattle class

In my flightplan was FL330. Is that to high for an 747-400

FL330 is no-where near to the Max Alt of the B747-400. You would generally start at an alt of FL330 or there abouts (depending on
weight) and then step climb higher as your weight allows.
