Cargo Payload Models

Hello,

I have just signed up for a Virtual Airlines... And it is requiring me to run just cargo on some flights just
wondering if I could talk some of them Payload Model makers to produce more Cargo Model Payloads.

what you want to do with cargo is simple, just add 2-3 pilots, add lots of cargo and go fly.

But being the fact I have actually been in the seat a time or two in the real world and if you never have had a
passenger that has been in the cockpit before and you are flying cargo into a remote location and have to dip over a slight elevation in
terrain or make a manuever that would be to most pilots just swinging her in.. But to a non-experienced passenger that has no clue of
flying just sitting in the seat. Wouldn't want them to nag me out of business (LOL)...


Besides most Cargo planes have the passenger seats removed and all the snazzy stuff to allow more weight and room for cargo...

Plus Cargo doesn't nag & complain...

Don't get me wrong I have been getting my share of flying passengers and I enjoy it.. Just for the fact that I enrolled in a Virtual
Airline that is mainly Cargo that is my reasoning for requesting more Cargo Payload Models.. And I also noticed on the post that Dan
made for the upcoming update that there are gonna be some upgrading to the Cargo aspect of it also..

I agree with you on that one.. But before this software ever came out I made sure to ask if a person could IE
run cargo such as bush runs and remote places... Some of us like to fly instead of worrying about spilling our coffee while the plane is in
APP mode coming into land on a 10,000ft or more of Rwy.. '

This software also has a Yin to it's Yang... And evidentally Dan know's that too cause on the next update he mentions a thing
or two about updates on the Cargo (hmm)... Never focus on that finger pointing at the star or you will miss all that heavenly glory..

Beside's I know I am not the only one on here that likes a good Cargo model and would like to not worry about passengers
for a little while nagging or getting worried because someone is actually flying the plane by hand into a gravel strip and would still like to
benefit from wear and tear and also failures. If I remember right I actually asked for specs some time ago for the ATR 72-500 to build my
own version of the actual cargo model with it gutted out and the bins in it to actually simulate that model for cargo. And someone else
obviously had the same passion and made one.

So you people leave me alone and quit beating up on me for asking a question (waaaa) Ok violin played.. (LOL)

Like I said I have not said I do not like the passenger aspect of it... So before someone get's on a band wagon (STOP HERE.. '

Pure cargo aspect is really wanted and I hope it will be improved in the new versions.

Do as I have done. Depending on the aircraft, as the downloads section has grown quite a bit, find the aircraft that you need a cargo
version of, download the payload model for the pasenger version, open the .ini file, remove the stations for passengers, go to
airliners.net, find the weights that the particular plane can carry (if available), or search google for cargo weights that particular plane can
carry and enter those into the front and rear cargo. Check the CoG, make sure its not too far forward or back, then save the ini as that
particular aircraft you fly. Sometimes it might need tweaking in that your plane goes nose up or down too much, and adjust the weights in
front or back until it can carry on level flight, and viola, a cargo payload model. Just dont change the name of the background image

Yeah I hear ya all ain't nothing like razzing the family member a bit and giving them a good ole head
burn...

I was working on making my own but had a dog gone hard drive crash on me awhile back so I am minus a
100gig's got 80gigs left but kinda been holding off on installing a bunch of other things to do editing etc. Cause I am trying to save room
for the FlightSim....

Well with all that said... Hey I don't mind getting razzed at all I am a wore out Jarhead myself served 94-98... I will just
razz back a little bit. I really enjoy this community and the Love we share for flight and the input that people share with you in the posts..

It is perfectly possible to do cargo-only runs in FSPassengers - I've done a Payload Model for the feelThere Caravan! Deluxe Cargo, and there are
others on there also.

I'll happily try doing a payload model for any aircraft you like (so long as it's free (or if not, if I have it!)).

Started working on the POSKY model last night, but stupid PSP7 crashed on me before I could save my work... Will hopefully finish tweaking the actual
loading tonight.
