Electrical failure indication

I am currently doing a flight as I type, and the electrical systems annunciator has lit up. All my instruments and glass cockpit CRT screens work but
there's just the failure indication. Is this something caused by FSP? I don't want to end up getting penalised for not declaring an emergency if it is
caused by FSP (and I didn't know) but on the other hand, I don't want to end up getting penalised for declaring a false emergency if it turns out not
be caused by FSP!

Is this an electrical failure, or what? I'd have thought all my instruments would go dead. But anyway, what's going on?

OH BUM

My right fuel tank is now empty, and it was a fuel leak causing the lights to light up! I've just lost 4,000lbs of fuel. I can continue to the
destination on the remaining fuel, just about, but should I declare an emergency???? Come on someone, answer. If you are the next registered person to
see this who knows about these things, then I'd love to hear from you quickly!

I cant remember if you declare an emergency or not. I think you do, but I wouldnt wait until someone clarifies because ya might crash

I once was penalized because I declared an emergency while I shouldn't have done so....

I also had a fuel leak, I noticed that I lost more fuel from the right tank then the left. I informed the passengers that we wouldn't be able to
get to our destination. I suppose this should be enough for this type of emergency, however. I did declare an emergeny at that time and I
was penalized for it.

There are two kind of fuel leaks, major and minor I think the major you need to declare, minor just forget about it

Is it wise when you have an emergency to inform the passengers about the not reaching the destination? Is that necessary and in which order should
these things be declared? Emergency then Cancelled Destination?

I've discovered (by accident) that by flying my Flight1 ATR out of Rome (LIRF) on a short hop to Split that I fly over the Vatican, this usually
results in lost engines, fuel and even gear and hydraulics - I then do a stiff bank to the right, and slide my way into Campicino (LIRC), gaining
myself 2000ish points everytime! Very cheeky!

I don't think there is an order in which you need to do it, but in real life I would definetely declare an emergency first. I don't even cancel the
destination, i just declare an emergency. FsP doesn't take points off.

I always declare an emergency when I get a fuel leak, and have never been penalized, even though both times I've been able to make the
destination.. You will notice the copilot calls out "pan pan pan" instead of "mayday mayday mayday" for fuel leaks, because it is not the
most serious emergency...

Oh man this happened to me while taking off from oakland....and nope I didn't declare an emergency and I got bonus points for landing
the plane in that condition
