FsP community flight (part 4)

Hello,

I was just at camera range from Runi setting the view for a nice pic when POUF no more runi, no more spots on the radar, I was simply
out connection. I could not reconnect during the flight i finished then with the AI and had to restartt FS to get connected again.

I tried a take off from
VAGAR with the 727 but had some problem with the owner of the field at the end of the runway. Oh not a lot, just some 500 feets more or
a front winds of 25 kts would do the job.

Anyway, a smaller and slower aircraft will be better to enjoy the splendid views during climb

So, The great Howard 500 from Milton Shuppe will be my plane for such a flight


I hope this time I will stay connected with you long enough for some pics.

In the copilot menu, choose inn plane. Then click the name of the user whose livery you like to set and choose (of course you
should have that livery
installed somewhere)

I checked the flight plan (Vagar - Newcastle) in FsNav, setting the ATR as plane, and it would take more than 2 hours
at FL230 (Dutch, you can easyly take her up there, ceiling at 260, I think) .
There's a more direct route to the east of the one Dutch posted, but it also takes about 2 hrs. I wouldn't mind, but if you
want a shorter flight, we might have to change destination or planes...

btw: Tonight I couldn't join. We're going to listen to some loud noisy music

Runi: about freeware ATR I don't know, but you could try a freeware BAE146, there are some nice ones around, or, if you
are into oldtimers and manual navigation, I highly recommend the FsDzigns Connie @ http://www.fsdzigns.com

I do have the BAe 146-200/300 from http://www.flightsim.co.nz/ and the RJ85/RJ100 by paul hannity from avsim. And the Atlantic Airways livery for the
200 model from avsim. And I also have an addon scenery for the airport from avsim (search for vagar.zip).
What kind of person would I be if I didn't have the aircraft our airliner fly. (BAe 146-200 and RJ100, the RJ100 is the newest our airliner has)

All depends about the plane category we fly

If flying small jets, the initial flight plan to Newcastle is fine

If we fly pison or turbo props, it can take long. Then, maybe this one would fit ?

For me the route is fine, if we can all make it online (and ready to fly) at 20.00 it should be ok i guess? But ok, let others decide.

The scenery is the best out there that I know about. I really wish someone would make an excellent payware scenery for the whole of Faroe islands.
