Question about FSP VA's

First of all, hello. This is my first post here. I'm no beginner when it comes to VA's, holding the 3rd highest seniority in one of the largest and
oldest VA's on the net, http://www.simairline.net, with over 1500 hours of flight time. However, I am curious, as far as FSP VA's go, if a VA has 1 757, is
that plane tracked in everyone's company manager? Like, if somone damages it, then it is unavailable for everyone to fly until it is repaired? In that
case, could only one person fly it at a time? That seems like a very neat concept, but I don't know if that's how it works.

either way you dont effect any other persons ability to fly if a plane is out but your own

Detpilot, no it is not, if it is possible I will have to remain guilty for that answer I would say ... yes but FsP was originally not intended for VA
use strange as that may sound. It has turned out that it is a wonderful tool for many of VA's but maybe in the future it will be more focused
on the VA, I do not know, that would be Dan's sole decision, good thing though is that Dan does listen to everyone's input and ideas so

Jaekay, thanks for the answer. That would be awesome though, if one guy damaged it then the VA had to pay to fix it or no-one could fly it.

JaeKay is probably right. I'm not exactly sure that we can make it work. We'll just have to wait(Until Mar. 1 or later) and see.

Ok, here is another question that sort of builds on the first. My roomate (also a pilot) wants to help my FSP airline by flying some flights. He
doesn't have the program, but will buy it if we can do the following:
Have him fly flights from his computer (networked to mine), on my airline. He'd create his own pilot, but he'd be flying my airline's fleet, etc.
Every flight he does would put money into the airline, and everything he damages on his computer will be damaged on mine. Is this possible?

At the moment the information which is exported to your "VA" concerns the report of the flights you make. I.e. it contains parameters such as distance
flown, passenger assessment, issues encountered etc..

Unfortunately it includes neither financial info nor fleet inventory.

The first part (i.e. the money) could be implemented by applying a factor to the miles/Pax transported which are exported to your "VA". But it would
not reflect the data contained in the FsP database stored on you local machine.

No. Strictly speaking it is not possible.
The only way you can do that, is to synchronize your FsP database folders. So that after you make a flight, you update his base with yours
and the same for him. You will not be able to fly simultaneously though.
I can not imagine any other way to do this currently.
