FSX-SE crash with no error message

Hi,

yesterday I bought FsPassengers for Steam. Installation went well.

I could create an airline and a pilot. When trying to setup a flight everything is OK. Pax are at the gate. I hit immediately load but nothing happens. And I got the message "no crew on board". When switching through the passengers submenus FSX crashed with no error message. WIN10

Help is needed.

You get a STACK_OVERFLOW because some parts of code repeat over and over again (RECURRING_STACK: From frames 0x8 to 0x1). I'm not sure how to resolve this with -SE, but it seems more -SE users with Windows 10 have this problem. You can email Dan by using the Contact tab at the bottom of this page and alert him of the problem.

Also, what is all of the gibberish in the last part of your post? I'm seeing alot of jumbled characters from my pc.

Ulrich, thanks for providing the specs. Although the system you have is very slightly better than the minimum required for -SE, I'm concerned about the amount of RAM you have....especially if you have multiple addon aircraft and sceneries, which could create the stack overflow problem you are having. Do you have any addons installed in the sim? How aggressive are the scenery sliders,etc, within the sim? Using DX10 preview?

I do have a bunch of addons installed. But up to now everything went well. I do have FPS of about 25-50.

In the meantime FsP is working. There is only one thing which disturbes.

When the flight has ended and is logged and then viewing the pilots log and then closing the pilots log window, FSX-SE crashes.

By the way, which amount of RAM I should use?

What about the settings you have within FSX? Are the sliders mid way or are they farther to the right? Moving them farther to the right will have an effect as well...especially if your system can't handle the extra load from higher scenery complexity, water,etc. It may have taken one more addon installed to cause the stack overflow issue. Many systems usually have a minimum of 8G of RAM to run FSX and addons. I have had 8G of DDR3 1600Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM and it has served me well for 5+ years to run FSX and P3D with multiple addons. No crashes in a very long time.
Another thing to consider. If you have all of your addon sceneries still activated within the sim, untick the ones you don't need for a particular sim session. Reduce sliders like AI traffic, car traffic,etc.
