Here is one to ponder....
Started Schaefells 737-800 from cold and dark, having loaded passengers etc.
Left engine started fine, but at about 55% power spool up on right engine it started to cough and splutter like I used to do in the morning
when I puffed 40 a day. (Now stopped)
Tried a few starts, everything showing normal except right engine.
However, on company manager I noticed a repair was needed, no details, but it would cost £88.
Off loaded passenegrs, spent £88, reloaded aircraft and engine started fine.
So, what costs £88 to fix a 737 Jet engine! My Honda costs that to repair anything!(g)
