Why do you want to/ are a pilot?

What are your reasons for wanting to be a pilot? My answer probably is:

I like being in-charge, and have the responsibility of looking after the plane, and passengers (or Cargo). Also I like pressing
buttons :p and like to travel alot

Well i want to be in the RAF when i get to 17.5 and then move on to commercial when im 32. Every since i can remember i have loved air
travel and wanted to be a pilot, i think i have the concertrasition and time to become one of the best if i get the chance.
I currently have flying lessons at Leeds Bradford and will be having another on the 17th of June for my birthday.

i just did my first solo cross country to a towered airport today, UNU-JVL for any1 who is interested, it was cool, u can see a lot of the
world from 5,500 feet up in the air. . .

For me -- now offical a solo pilot -- iv wanted to fly since I was 6, dont know why, but I have always loved planes... right now im 17 and
plan on getting my license soon, just need to get the 10 solo hours in [The only reason for the delay is my nervous mom who kept
saying noo to me soloing ]

I have always wanted to be a pilot ever since I was 7 and I took my first flight in an airplane. I like traveling and I like being in charge and
flying just gives me satisfaction.

I want to be a Pilot, because it would be fun, to have the responsability, to be high in the air with the view, I find planes intresting, also I
would love to be doing a hand approch into Boston Logan, flying over the Boston area, and past the city Skyline, and then onto the rwy, or
approching into any airport, and just knowing, that kids, on the ground watching me land the plane, would be like I want to be a pilot.

Its just a natural thing for me. I've always worked in aerospace (ICBMs, then aircraft avionics), so FS is definitely my sort of thing.
