Hi All

I am trying to break the around the world circumnavigation flight around the world but I cannot find any good resources about the real
flight. I can only find websites about it's record and nothing about the flight itself, eg - the times it departed at certain airports

Does anyoune know were you can get such information?

yea what you gotta do is go north or south pole and hop in a cheap plane and do a circle around the pole

Actually, you CANNOT circle the globe by the north and or south pole in fs.

Flight Simulators ground is like.. a line. It goes from Point A to Point B, and continue's from both ends perpetually; however, you cannot
leave this line to reach point A or B by going down or up.

What im saying is, if you go to the south or north pole, you will find 3 problems:

1.) An impenitrable wall you cannot pass that scretches 1,500 miles and repeats itself
2.) The inability to use the auto-pilots Heading indicator for by now it will go in a perfect circle about 700 miles below this wall.
3.) The quite hard task of leaving this wall since, as you hit it, your speed is reduced to zero; in order to turn out of this motionless flight,
you must have lift.. to do that, you need speed, to have speed you must move, to move you need space, to have space you need .. well..
not a wall. So you'll be very much stuck at times.

Also, if you get stuck in this trap of the far poles, be warned that your map will not work (It will tell you you require to be within blank
latitude). so every navigational aid you have will be shot and burned. Fuel does'nt last forever in FSP!

There were two circumnavigation flight with the Concorde. One westbound in 1989, and the second... eastbound in 1995.

Here's the infos I got:

Westbound Around The World air speed record: 32 hours 49 minutes 3 seconds, set on 12-13 October 1992 in commemoration of the
500th anniversary of Columbus' first New World landing. (Air France Concorde #F-BTSD.) Routing was: Lisbon / LIS - Santo Domingo /
SDQ – Acapulco / ACA – Honolulu / HNL – Guam / GUM – Bangkok / BKK – Bahrain / BAH – Lisbon / LIS. On this flight,
named "SUNCHASER I", the sun never set during the entire journey, as the aircraft outpaced the sun in the air; then lost a bit of time back
while refueling at our six technical-stops.

Eastbound Around The World air speed record: 31 hours 27 minutes 49 seconds, set on 15-16 August 1995. (Air France Concorde #F-
BTSD.) This flight, named “SUNCHASER II”, was Coors Light Beer's major Summer, 1995 promotion, and followed a routing of: New
York / JFK – Toulouse / TLS – Dubai / DXB – Bangkok / BKK - Andersen AFB, Guam / UAM – Honolulu / HNL – Acapulco / ACA - New York /
JFK. The sun rose and set three times between pre-departure and post-landing at JFK. This is the current GUINNESS BOOK OF
RECORDS RTW air speed record.
