Fly a Zeppelin in Fs2004 (stunning addon)

I was finally able to try the zeppelin add-on for Fs2004 and saw there was minor
glitch with the previous payload model, I uploaded a new one far better with

Nice isn't it? You know I have to say that Bill's airplanes are second to none but it's his unconventional stuff that is really inspired.

I agree. Bill and Lynn are two of the most creative developers we have. They choose models probably 99.99999% of the developers
would not even second glance at, and yet Bill and Lynn always make them fun.

Yes.... I've fallen in love with the Graf and with FSPassenger. SOooooooooo as you can imagine, my flightsim world is perfect about
now. I can't think of ever wanting anything else. (smile)

If you get a chance and have time.... pick up the book, "Dr. Eckener's Dream Machine." I was able to find a copy at Amazon.com for $1.00,
or course shipping was about 3. Anyway... it brings Bill's Graf to another level...... You'll discover why the phonograph is where it is etc.

Since price in FsP is based on weight... Probably not so much!

I don't remember but it seem 10'000 or such only ...
this is a special rebate on Zeppelin for FsP user

Workaround: put the real weight of the graf in the aircraft.cfg,
buy it in FsP, edit again the aicraft.cfg back to real weight
and voila.

OK So I have the Zeppelin now, and as always Lynn and Bill Lyons have done it again, making a priceless and fun add-on for the sim,

Wouldnt the Zeppelin use fuel for its engines?

I have however noticed that a number of the Lyons' aircraft are VERY fuel efficient. While I do short hops with the Luscombe, with a full
tank it can fly for 20 hours. Not sure why it does this, but with one pax and some cargo I make about $100 a flight so its a slow process.

I did however sell my yellow Luscombe for a polished aluminum one. Bought the yellow one for under $5000 and sold it for $23,000 a
few days later. Seems to be a bit of a profit for some reason which is fine as I had made about $1000 in all my flights lol and a little bit of
a slush fund was welcomed incase of failure

The Zeppelin can not support any weight without loosing all its flight abilities
imho this is why bill cheated and set the engine to have zero or very few fuel
consumption....

You have to love the various nuances of the flight sim. In order to make something work sometimes you have to use the addage "give a
little take a little"

As far as I know, the fuel in a Zeppelin was really special to avoid losing weight (and thus gaining altitude). It was not a liquid but a gas
and weighted as much as air. So when the gas was used the Zeppelin didn't gain or lose weight.

I suppose they managed to reproduce that with low or no fuel consuption, as Dan said...
