I bought this a few weeks ago, and have been very happy with the purchase! Definatly worthy of the title of 'The Beast'
So this is what I found when I turned up at the gate...

Landing was as effortless as cruise, almost boring in a way. Ah well.

The spoilers didn't deploy properly and the brakes weren't strong enough to stop me, so I overshot my exit. A quick turn around and I'm on my way to
the gate.

I'm still trying to remember how to get my pictures up to the standards I used to, as it stands they're not great compared to some people here.
As for the Aircraft, if anyone is considering the PMDG 747 I would ask that they give this a look at. It's not got the amazing systems and FMC that
PMDG has, but it provides enough information to the more-novice pilot without overwhelming them. It also carrys nearly as much passengers as a 744 but
with the added cargo and increased fuel economy.

flight sim to freeze up once I landed in AYPY

Good job! I think I'll keep flying my 747.
When PMDG release the PMDG A320 I'll diffently buy it and I think that would be the only Airbus I'll fly. I'm not glad to say it but there is not
REALLY good Airbus add-ons on the market today only that one you are flying there.

That statement alone will prompt someone to fly the biggest aircraft to YBHM. When they do, it should be a rule that they use the same

Awesome long aircraft that A340-600. It's that long that it looks unnnnnaaaaatural long...

Your cockpit seems already 50 ft above ground on take off where your tail is still on the ground.
(what altitude above ground does that plane have then in that case 50ft or 0ft ?

Now I know why they developed the A380.
Hmm wouldnd an A380 be stageable also?

hmm you might get it landed if you turn on the autobrake and land on the very beginning of the strip. But I'll bet you can't take off with it

Completely agree with you Dennis, it's a shame the quality side of the payware market is so biased to american aircraft, but at least I've got this in
my fleet to use when I don't feel like spending 2 hours getting the damn thing ready before throwing the doors open
To be honest, I've spent so much time with this recently that it looks normal, when I see the 200/300 models I start thinking that they look quite
stubby

A "beast" like the A340-600 is built to cover 7500nm and you will take of for a flight about 600 nm which is not 10 % of this distance. So yo
don't need to tank more than some 40000 lbs of fuel.

You will have 4 RR Trent giving a total of 220000 lbs power to push a weight about 520000 lbs at V2 before the end of the runway.which
gives a Weight/Power ration of 2.32.

So will take of more easy than an A319 which must, for the same flight be at some 120000 lbs for 45000 lbs of engine power.
Weight/Power ration of 2.66...

I think you could add two more wings to that A340-600,
One in front of the wings already there and one at the back.
And then you add 2 passangers floors.

mmmh that would give a nice plane. ...
you could even double it ..add again 3 floors with 3 wings on top.

One flight in FS Passanger with that thing and you could buy 10x A320 after
