Hi everybody, I just purchased and downloaded ActiveSky 6.

I'm actually experiencing some problems with it. I'm flying with it right now, but suddenly my FS9 just stops. It doesn't crash, but the
screen just freezes and the ActiveSky menu says: 'Writing station data: $272'.

Can anybody help me with this? Cause I don't understand anything of it.

In the mean while it says 'Writing station data: $227'
So it is doing something!! But I don't know what!

Did you download the latest beta? They improved the download and writing to disk processes. Besides that, disable anti virus scanner and see if it
makes a difference

Take off Active radar and see what happens!

O, if that would be the thing then that would be a shame. Cause I really like the radar!

I had this problem regularly before the last patch and still have it occasionally with the patched version (though my FS9 doesn't freeze,
only AS does, but I run FS in window mode - maybe that makes a difference).
If it happens I just shut AS down and restart it (if necessary kill the process).

Well, I just did my first complete flight with AS without any problems. And it was because I didn't use ActiveRadar. Isn't there some way I
CAN use this program without any problems?

I was just thinking about buying AS6, but not for certain at this point...if people are having lots of problems with the program crashing
during a flight or crashing the computer altogether. From reviewing all of the advertised info. about the product, it certainly looks
appealing, and definitely detailed. Currently I have only Real Sky V2, which is not dissapointing at all in terms of graphics. At any rate,
getting feedback from you folks would be greatly appreciated.

I have never had one problem with Active Sky, I think the product is amazing. I recommend that you buy it right away, lol, as it will really enhance
your experience without taking frame rates, or anything else, away.
