I just downloaded this tool, but every departure airport I put in, it says "Airport departure code does not exist" and that's using kjfk, egll
etc..etc Should it be installed in fs9 folder or somewhere?? ![]() Stu... Post Edited ( 10-05-05 09:05 )

Hey Stu,
two issues here: 1) Currently only US airports are used by my program, I should have written that in the info ![]() ....there will be an update soon 2) The 4-letter code has to be in capital letters like KJFK...in a new version you will be able to put in lower case letters as well... Hope that helps.... Pete

Hey Stu and for everybody else,
I did some programming this morning and have a new version of my program. The database covers now worldwide airports and you can enter the ICAO Code in lower case as well ![]() I will not upload this program in the near future, because I think there will be more changes soon. If one of you is interested in the latest version, just PM me your email address and I will be hapy to send it to you. Regards, Pete

Also if by any chance you take care to put always the same title you can also give a link that will always show your download: example, if you always put the title as "Random Flight Generator" this link below will always show your latest version: http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=down...type=Title Dan

Hi Pete!!!
Very interesting tool!!! ![]() I've a question: could you be able to make possible to set the flight duraton instead the miles of trip? Nice program really!! If you'll be able i will wait for the upcoming version, if not... i will pray you to send me the file! :-) Good work!!! Vittorio ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey Vittorio,
thank you. Nice that you like it. Well, I first thought about flight duration as an input, but since there are so many different aircraft, I think distance is a better solution. For example if you only have 1,5 hours time to do your flight, and you know your aircraft can do 200 kts average speed, then the maximum ditstance should be around 300 Nm. That should do it. Just PM me your email address and I will send it to you ![]() Latest version has worldwide database, ICAO Code can be entered in lower case as well and it will randomly calculate the departure time as well. ![]() Since Dan said I can upload it and only the latest version will be available, it will be on the download page probably within the next days. Pete

I'll move it as soon as you'll see this last post. Dan |
