Well....let's see....the logical thing is:
I've never seen the REAL Santa Claus...... and... I've never seen the REAL Brad.... and.... I've never seen the REAL Brad fly an airplane..... sooo..... either Brad is not real, or.... Brad is not a real pilot, or.... Brad is REALLY Santa Claus!!!!!!!!!

![]() I like your logic. People can say whatever they want. I'm not going to defend the fact that my career (YES, IT IS A CAREER!) is an airline pilot. It's just like any other job! If they don't believe I'm a pilot, that's their decision! Bottom line is what I know, and what you guys feel! ![]()

Don't even spend time on those ppl not believing you are a pilot or not, it's their problem, not yours

Yeah, to go over there and defend myself, or show my credentials would just waste my time, and fuel their energy! If they think they're
pissing me off, then they win! I'm over it! Thanks for the tips though Dutchy!

Hi,
It's not that I don't believe your an Airline Pilot {Anymore anyway :P} (especially how I don't see you could be in the position your in here if you were a fake), It's just become a little harder to 'spot the fakes', Unfortunately the 'FS Community' has changed alot in recent years and the 'new rage' is to pretend to be Airline Pilot's, wtf? Is all I can say to those who are pathetic enough.. Don't take my Post on Feelthere's forum as in any-way questioning Brad's credibility ![]()

Like I stated above, it really doesn't bother me. People question things every day! That leads to increased knowledge!
I just really don't feel I need to prove anything, so if someone is going to doubt me, I'm not going to retaliate with a negative post. I left them a very negative "farewell" post over at Feelthere, but that was just because I don't like the way "Victor" runs his company!

Turns out everyone at the Feelthere forum hates me, and thinks I'm a fraud. One guy even went as far as to insult my behavior as
being "non-military"... he says he knows what he's talking about since he was in the AF for 4 years! ![]() I think that's the 3rd or fourth forum I've been "removed" from. Am I welcome here guys? I'm really depressed now that Feelthere gave me the boot ![]() ![]() Jk!

On a side note: I've never come across anyone pretending to be a commercial pilot. What benefit does this have? It's a job, just like any
other one. I happen to have that career, and enjoy FS as well. Am I doing something wrong here? ![]()

you could just walk me thru the fmc ![]() ![]()

Brad,
I am disappointed that your thread was locked over at Feelthere, and wrote so in a post there. I told them I lost a significant amount of respect for the forum because of the action. I believe that nothing you said was over the top or out of bounds, and also believe that you have a great deal of knowledge about the 737 that they could benefit from. If they do not wish to use your input then that is their business, but they should not have locked the thread. I am distressed that anyone who raises very serious issues over at that forum seems to be immediately and sometimes viciously attacked by some of the Feelthere "loyalists." I have warmed up a little to the feelthere 737-300, but am still disappointed and have decided not to fly her again until issues are resolved. This especially after I found some really fundamental errors (FMC can't even calculate the takeoff V-speeds accurately!!!) in the sim that make it essentially unflyable to me, especially after my experiences with other sims. Had I not had other very good add-ons, I might not be as critical of the 737-300. This has renewed my respect for the PMDG 737-800, which was my primary and beloved aircraft, but which stopped flying in mid-August in order to give the Ariane 737-900 a fair shake (it has some very good points, and is NOT just eye candy). I'll be flying both of those now, but the PMDG will be my top of the line aircraft. The 737-300 from Feelthere is going into the hangar and will stay there until the bugs are fixed.

PMDG 737-800 (It's the best, simply the best 737!) Ariane 737-900 (No sniveling, it has some good points and new company ownership, and it's not just eye candy) Feelthere PIC 737-300 (Disappointed, but hope it will get better)

It's a job, just like any As your aware Most of us want to be Commercial Pilot's, While we worry day-to-day about Pilot-Jobs, or how to pay for Flying Lessons, our friends sit around having a great time not caring about their career or future! When a 'real' pilot comes into a FS Forum immediately everyone gives their respect..I guess people just want to feel special, It's nice your here for the right reasons ![]()

Well, for myself I've got nothing but respect for Brad, most (if not all) here were happy when Dan made him a Mod.
As to the 733PIC, well I've seen JustFlight are going to be releasing it in January, so I'll wait till then to buy it, probably do that with the CaptainSim C130 too. ![]() Flying for Landmark Airlines. |
