Drew, you're from newcastle right? I heard they call ppl from there "geordies" or so. Has it anything to do with football or what?

But to be honest, i don't like it that Man U is out, those kind of clubs should always be there because of the nice football they play. Chelski,
that's boring, Arsenal, I think i like them the best of the english teams. Best team of europe nowadays i would say is barcelona... Ajax is on their way back after some very difficult times. Maybe next year they will play as usual again ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

By the way, my best bet for the champions league winners are either barca or liverpool or chealse(even thought I hate them)....

![]() I've watched both soccer, and FOOTBALL, and find soccer very boring, and non-addictive!! On the other hand, I can not not (yes a double negative!) watch FOOTBALL for more than a week (that is unless it's the off season!) ![]() Seriously, check it out... you'll LOVE it!

I know, i once heard an american reporter saying something like they should get rid of the goalie in footbal so that more goals would be made. But
that's the whole point, even without goals football can be wonderful. But i think it all depends in what continent you grew up ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

i just like to think about the word
FOOTball FOOT 'pick up odd shaped ball and throw it around' where does the foot part come in (apart from feild goal / conversions or whatever they are called from now on in this post, we shall call it Throwball - american throwball ![]()

what I don't like about football(besides that it is boring) is that they restart the game (when they say hut or hike or something else) every
20 seconds. Whenever the ball hits the ground or someone gets tackled, the restart it!!!! That's boring. That would be like having a kick off every 20 seconds in football (soccer in US) ![]() on the other hand, soccer has two halves of 45 minutes of playing time. ![]() |
