FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #18)

I'm not going to panic. However the buttons I see on the control panel are (clockwise from top): mCP, FP, ATC, Wx, Chat, Quick, Rad, SET,
basic/advanced. When advanced is pressed I also get Pla, VVL, and two that are red: P/B and Smk. Hopefully I get this figured out. Although I do
know why I'm so gung ho to fly in public where people can see me...

I'm also testing the BSMP SAAB 2000 right now, and that looks like it might be a winner for tomorrow.

Can you do a screenshot?
IS there nothing in the middle, is it just blank?
Are you running a firewall
Do you not get a white box in middle of screen saying 'connecting to fsinn server' or so

No ability for screenshots right now. It's 0215 PST here in Santa Cruz, and I'm totally fried.

In the center part of the FSInn panel is a title that says FSInn at the top, at the bottom is the call sign that i can enter in the settings. There
are buttons on the sides, but not one labeled FSFDT. If I go into the settings menu and the network/ FSFDT options, it says not connected and all
items are grayed out. The firewall is off, and all I see when I launch is the loading planes popup.

I'm going to pile it in for tonight and try for a good nights sleep and then take a crack at it in 8 hours or so. Maybe my brain won't hate me then.

Some firewalls are still active in memory, even when you switch them off. ZA is a 'great' example...

make sure firewalls are off


1 start fsinn...


2 it builds plane database automatically and shows this control panel screen


3 you will then get this message


4 and then this message


5 then click this button




If when clicking fdsdt in part 5, it does not turn green, check these settings
Click SET on control panel
General tab
General as seen below


make sure you have callsign and user info filled in or it wont work

but on the rest 10% (like mine) you NEVER get that msg and you have to connect to mulitplayer the manual way (over the FS
menu, connect to local session)

I don't know I lost tracks of my SW-firewalls. There is a coming and going of firewalls on my PC.

I open my hardware router/firewall for the P2P connection. And this direct connection works in FSINN as well as on other programs.
So the firewall should not be the problem. I rather blame it on FSInn!
If this works why should the MP session be a problem for FSInn with possible firewalls? Really I have no clue of my SW firewalls
anymore.. I also have to kill a number of process on PC on startup of 'trial' run out virus firewall etc softwares ..

Ow I saw it's a prop flight today... now I am upset
(worked 2 hours on a new fuse for my A320..8o )

You can go ahead and close the thread. I'm not making this flight. The good news is I have a week to try to iron this out.

HB-100: how do you connect? I excited that it might not be a "me" problem.
