Around the world in a helicoptor

Stop off at Gloucester (EGBJ) and we'll go for a pint. There's a nice run down from north Wales, through the Welsh mountains and when
you clear a range of hills called the Malverns there's Gloucester in front of you.

North Sea oil rigs mainly have NDB's for navigation.

From Norway they've mostly used Superpuma Mk2's and Sikorsky 92 (S-92). The times I've been working offshore we were flown out in
Puma's.

During nighttime, with decent visbility, the oilrigs are visible for miles. They are lit up like christmas trees, against a pitch black ocean

Flew from Orly to Lyon-St. Exupery. I was very disappointed with Lyon after using google earth. In real life Lyon is gorgeous but in FS9 it's
default.

Where did you get the auto pilot add-on for your Blackhawk? I would be interested in getting something similar, but have never been
able to find anything.

I just tried googling "Lyon Exupery scenery FS9" and the first page or so of results included a few freeware links that looked promising.

PS I was going to suggest starting your tour again but this time including a screenshot from each leg you report, but then thought you might not want to face battling your way across the Atlantic again.

Thanks for the tip but I'm not smart enought to know how to post a screenshot Sorry I haven't checked in in a while, mother-in-law had
a stroke and have been turning the 'ol man cave into a bedroom for her. Last night I landed at Benghazi.

Oh my, hope your mother-in-law is recovering.

This seems trivial now, but, as regards making screenshots, I'm sure the folk who post in the "Post Your Screenshots Here" threads would be able to
help. (I'm no expert either.)
