I've looked high and low for an "icing indicator", but have yet to find one. Does anyone else know what Jetflyer's talking about?

Ok, Jetflyer just sent me an email... here's the message body of it:
What I meant was it is part of a freeware aircraft addon, not to be used on any plane, but a specific plane. The addon is a Tupolev 114 IIRC. Go to http://www.avsim.com and search the file library for "tupolev 114" and it is the first aircraft you see. I don't know if that particular version has all the cockpit and VC in it though, but it should. The only other way of getting it is on some obscure russian site. It is created by "Samdim Design Bureau". Looks like it's not a "gauge" like we were hoping for. I'll check it out anyway though!

Well, there's no chance it could be a gauge logically, because the graphical effects would have to be modelled on whatever plane you were
flying anyway, whatever that happened to be, and it could be anything. But the TU-114 is excellent anyway, I heard it took 1000's of hours to create everything, which is not surprising when you fly it. Great plane. Maybe Microsoft will come up with something like realistic window icing in FS10. Let's wait and hope.

I'd like something as simple as a cheap little gauge that shows the icing level. Something simple would work for me, since currently
there's really no reason to activate any anti or de-icing systems in FS9.

Oh I see what you mean... not necessarily the actual graphics of frosted over windows. Well, there could be a gauge somewhere, or you
could study in depth programming and create one yourself or maybe hire a programmer to create one. ![]()

Seems that the file Tu-114 is just repaints.....original should be "tupolev114_install.zip"

I didn't see in those screenshots where the icing was. Does anyone know of a 2D gauge I can add to an existing panel that would
duplicate an effect like this?

When does it come out in England
and how much sam

You can order it from their website. Ever cared to check it?

Order what? This Ariane plane? The more I look at it, the more I'm thinking about getting it... How many USD does 50 Pounds translate
to? I know it's a lot, but I like some of the extra little features. Might end up being a stupid buy though!

Anyone have a link to a review of the Ariane 737? I can't seem to find one anywhere!
