Why does everyone take rw 13? RW 31 is a regular runway with a normal and safe approach? I guess I'm missing something but don't know what yet

Peeps just want to take the challenge of the curved approach at Kai Tak...no matter from which direction the wind blows I do agree
with Dutch-man...

I had planned on being online for today's flight but it looks like I won't be on until an hour or so later. Probably by 2130 or so. Anyone else
showing up late can join me at VTCT then.

hmmm Dutch got a point there... They should have build a big concrete wall so that rwy 31can't be used..

The rw31 is even a nice approach Through the bay with the city at the background, quite nice scenery Well, depends what you want, do you want to
sweat and have fun while trying to turn in time for the rw, take the 13 approach. For breathtaking view of the city take rw 31

Or you could do what I'll end up doing...

1) Try 13 a couple of times, going around due to some basic error.
2) Get totally fed up and go for a 31 approach
3) Hit a hill somewhere near by.

Gargh, what a pain!
2 hours in the air, approching over some big hills and low clouds, make a great landing, turn off the runway and start taxiing to parking. Then the
screen goes black and says FS has performed an illegal operation!
I was expecting the 35yr old aircraft to go wrong before the computer

Chiang Rai was more busy than expected, DSW and Drew took off quickly


Vegas will have some trouble with his engines


Peter has already drunk a large part of the beer he should have loaded in his cargo...

GREAT screenies guys...here are mine.

After arriving late for my flight, I finally got myself and paxs together and blasted off for VVCR:


Upon arrival at the gate in VVCR, I see Pierre had changed aircraft. I guess he got tired of the Airbus and settled for a Boeing


I took a stroll out to the bridge nearby to catch a glimps of Wardak. Looked all around but the clouds were hiding him:

Joeflyer: Really like your pictures!!

The only bad thing is, it shows me that I have to work urgend on my A320 fuse painting. And I hate painting the fuse! You try and try and at
the end it looks more ugly than the standard delivery..at least that always happen to me when I put my hands on the fuse!

By way my third movie is ready. Just need to still compile it and upload it. So in approximatle 2 hours it will be up.
I will link it in my HB-100 movies thread then.
