soz.. we digress
still curious as to the failures question tho. unless you guys just disable that option, but if memory serves, that can't be done in flight which means i must be set prior to flight = where is the fun in a 0 possibilty of failure?

Quote:When ATC hands you over to another frequency (ATC: "Contact XY on XXX" ) you simply tune in that frequency but DON'T contact XY That's useful to know, thanks Pierino. It seems evert time I leave the cockpit for 10 minutes I get a frequency change and when I come back they've cancelled my flight plan. Since I dont have my flights automatically recorded (I have had issues where something caused me to go to black screen - non FSP
related, or caused severe lag, again non FSP related, and I could no longer control the aircraft and crashed. Had they been recorded my pilot would be pushing up daisies), so sometimes when I have a long flight I get to my cruise level, set the AP, go to bed, and wake up the next morning within 30 minutes to an hour of reaching my destination. I had it happen one time where I woke up and had crashed. The report if I remember correctly, said I had a depressurization and crashed. So, I didnt record the flight, and started over.

@Pierino: thank you very much for your input.
![]() comply with their instructions. You later state " Quote:you'll automatically contact the right center". Well, if THIS is true, that would be something ![]() And for those who are glued to the monitor 24hrs: with FSP, simming REALLY becomes addictive. I gotta talk to my psychiatrist about that.

Nope it doesnt! If I tune the freq and don't do nothing after that I'll have to re-enter an IFR-plan after a while.

Personally I fly only VFR because I get sick and tired of doing 500 frequency changes during flight. I don't know if it's like that in real life
too but I think it's rediculous to do 20 changes on a 250nm flight. Brad, can you comment on this? How often are you being pestered by ATC? Is it as rediculously often as in this game? Anyway, the only time I contact ATC is 30 miles out of destination to request landing and taxi to gates.
