Around the world in a helicoptor

Isn't there an add-on (freeware or payware) that places oil rigs in the atlantic? That would make it easy for you to land on and get some
fuel.

Very good idear.
Or fly canada, greenland, Iceland, and then hop to the UK and from there to Europe
Or if you look at the world map maybe it is possible to go west, you know from canada, the a piece of the US hop to Russia.

Flying east has more favorable winds. As for the rigs the add-on dictates where the rig is located not me.

No, I.m afraid not. I use AS6 for real wor.ld weather (it would be cheating otherwise) and the wx has been bad for the past few days and I had photo shoot
yesterday. Today looks great though

This is very interesting. I hope you do it and report back about the progress.

I already did "around the world tour" but with Learjet 45, B737 and B747. To cross the Atlantic I flew from NY to Iceland and from Iceland to London.
I also didn't go across Pacific.. I took the "from Russia to Alaska" route (Japan, Russia, Alaska,..).
Now I have a nice red line around the world on the map

I think I bit off more than I could chew. I don't have the time to sit here with my hand on the stick for two or three hours at a time. No auto-pilot is quite the pain in the
rear. May try some leggs on the weekends.
