DREW..with Sim Market, you have to buy the "download insurance" they offer in order to reactivate your downloads
![]() one product from them before and only noticed this "caveat" AFTER I bought from them. So, even though I supposedly have 20 downloads remaining, if I needed to download the product again due to a pc crash, upgrade or whatever, I would need to pay them additional $$ if I go past the expiration date of the original download, which I think is a couple of weeks from the original download. What a biiiiiatch of a way to do business, huh?

Drew:
"If i buy from simmarket, i can get it for £2 (uk money) cheaper than if i get it direct from fs2crew.com - how strange is that?" Hahah, I don't usually quibble over two quid, hahaha Thanks for the Poll... I'll take the high ground and not vote for myself! For those of you who are wondering what FS2Crew does, basically I take a high end 3rd party plane like the ATR, PMDG 737, LDS 767 or PMDG 744 and enhance it. FS2Crew is like an addon for an addon. Not only do I add a whole crew (flight, cabin, ground, company, etc), I also add new effects and systems (to a degree) to the original aircraft. For example in the 767 Edition I added visible bird strikes (complete with smashed glass) and St. Elmo's fire. We do single versions for each aircraft because customization for each aircraft is the only way to get real detail. Interfacing with custom coded 3rd party airplanes is not easy, each one has to be approached and treated differently. Each version is modelled on one airline's real-world SOPs, so what you're seeing is pretty close to what you'd see at the associated real airline. If you're interested, I'm currently working on a version for the PMDG 747. Check out a very short video here. http://66.135.39.111/fs2crew/FS2Crew_747_Preview1.zip Note: FS2Crew and the excellent FSPax compliment each other in many ways. Using them both will help round-off your sim experience. Contrary to what some people think, they do not do the same thing. They are in fact very different with very different goals and objectives. Quote:Drew wrote: Sorry but, no amount of FS addons can EVER compare to a wifey! ![]() Yeah, I know. Now everyone's thinking - ![]() ![]() By the way, I just downloaded the manuals for the PMDG 737-700. If I take the plunge on that, I may "have" to do FS2Crew for it as well. ![]() Maybe I'll pull out the default B734 version that I already have and do a video.

Now im not the smartest guy in the world but is it possible to do a system recovery to a few days before, get it from there, then undo the
recovery? If not, like I said im not the smartest guy ![]()

No, that won't work. First, I turned of system restore to save space. Second, I thought I had it backed up on a CD but that seems to have
disappeared and the file on my backup HDD also "disappeared." I emailed them to see if I can get the key back from my purchase records. Oh well. Maybe I'll just have to bite the bullet and get PMDG and that version. I printed their manual last night - YEESH! About 2 inches thick!
