Hi,

If you have the PMDG 747 Don't bother with it. I personally am getting excellent FPS in the 'panel only' model, Note I"m using the CX Paint.

This is not just excellent for freeware, It is amazing.

dose anyone who has bad FPS with this plane have good FPS with the PMDG queen of the skies 747-400?

Personnally I have a PC set up like that:

AMD athlon 2.0+ (1.67Go)
GeForce4 Ti4200 64Mo (yes only, lol)
1024DDR

This 747 freeware package is running perfect, the FPS I have is on the average FPS compare to freeware planes and even better than
Level-D 767. I don't not own the 747PMDG but I tried it with a firend how got it and now I finally made my choice: I will not buy the PMDG!!!
The freeware is just amazing!!!

There is only 2 things that I don't like much

1) the exterior visual model is not pretty nice and the Project opensky will probably fit better (but I don't put myself too much in outside
view, so it is not a really big issue).

2) The airfile really sucks, the plane fly totally unrealistic (I mean when flying by hand not performances as I didn't compare yet that to
other 747). The plane is very difficult to fly, too much sensitive in pitch axis and not responding enough in banks. I did compare with the
PMDG and the Project Opensky and they fly much better. Something really need to be done here.

Well, except the 2 points above, it is really a wonderful freeware package... (but I still prefer my good old payware Level-D 767)
