When is the next MFS coming out???

I actually waited quite awhile before upgrading to FS9 too. I can't stand to fly the default aircraft, and most of the default airport sceneries
really lack in excitement. So running right out and buying the new version would be a waste of time and money for me.

But, obviously the sooner it does get released, the sooner all the add-on wizards can get busy cranking out new things for us to
download and spend even more money on.

It's true about the addons but i'm sure i would not be able to control myself and immediately pre-order it

I never got the pre-ordering ordeal! What's the hype about it? I can understand if you're buying something that is very limited in stock (like
say that new XBOX 360 deal), but why pre-order something like a music CD, or a video game? There's going to be PLENTY of copies to
go around!



Sorry for pointing it out, it just never made sense to me, and perhaps someone can explain it. Pre-ordering a video game doesn't get it in
my hands any sooner!

Well, the 777 for example, pre-ordering had the benefit of getting it earlier and 25% discount

The various flight sims dont really become good until they have been out a year or two.

The foundation is the sim. The skyscraper is the addons people create for it both payware and freeware.

Sure EVENTUALLY there will be enough to go around, but when something like that comes out and you DON'T pre-order chances are u
will be waiting a LONG time to get it... I'm a BIG fan of SOCOM for the PS2... Before SOCOM 3 came out I pre-ordered it and when I went to
pick it up at EB Games they said they will be sold out for at least a month and a half..So on BIG items its good to pre-order (if u can)

Sometimes pre-ordering has some benefits like with the PSS T7, you got it earlier and 25% discount

There will be an FS10. I have a friend who is involved with the project in Redmond. Although, he is perplexed as to why I use add on
aircraft, rather than the default MSF aircraft. My stock answer to him is that the default aircraft SUCK!!!!!! LOL. He is clearly not an aviator.

I'm scared that they are perplexed about that...... It would mean they really don't have an idea what ppl want out there. Well, never mind, let's wait
and see how it looks like when it is released

Does Microsoft know how bad their default aircraft are? Especially the 737-400. A big Cessna with an autothrottle.
