I disable the autopilot when I need to. If the vis is really poor then It can be as low as 50' AGL. Under normal conditions it's 200' AGL and
in most turboprops/props it's once they're lined up.

Press W and you'll only have the gauges-relevant ones. Then you can see rnwy! Flare: If I am at correct speed and all set up properly for
landing, I usually flare at 30 feet and that seems to be perfect. In real life I only fly cessnas and for flare I just look out of the side windows-
thats gives a perfect idea, after sometime it becomes second habit and you don't do it consciously anymore.

just space bar resets the view if i remember correctly Brad

Space bar is the key, but it doesn't work when FSP is running.
