I've just come home and will fly fully unprepared tonight
I just dowloaded the scenery from fspworldtour and i think it contained some afcads also? Who cares, water and hils, all ingredients for some good ol'
flying

Darn, I got to work today, 3 to 6, so for you guys that 2000Z to 2300Z so I can't make it...

I was also thinking of using the 737, but I think it is too slow in slowing down, and will propably speed up too much in the dive after the hill, but
it's definetly a good candidate for this flight. I dropped the idea of using the 767 right away, it's a bit to heavy for me on this approach (I
probably be able to land it though).
The 747 ............ dropped.
So I went for the Citation. It's fast, can go slow on landing and is manoeuvrable.

Just checked that scenery patch for wajj: my plane is now standing 100ft below surface and I see lots of trees floating in the air.
Anyone got this working?

I had the same problem, I'm going with the default scenery. And I think others are as well.

I tried the PMDG 737 and it didn't perform very well in the dive. I did land it though. The MD-81 is a good candidate for me, but it doesn't
have a FMC so it'll be harder to navigate.Mostly using VORs probably.

Grr on the software patch. FS completely crashed about 30nm from the airport, then when I went and ran it again, it crashed at the exact same spot as
it rendered the same scenery. I uninstalled the patch files, and flew it again and it was totally fine.

Hmm.. Guess I'll go and delete the software patch from fspworldtour.com to save future generations from suffering the same fate..

Nothing to report - black screen about 3nm out - pretty annoying as I already have to catch up with last flight and now this one too

Ivo, the Flight1 80's ONS computer works almost like an FMC and it's not very hard to set it up. Only drawback is when entering new waypoints in
flight (like for Direct or SID/STAR) you have to enter world coordinates as it has no waypoint database (that's how the real thing works too).
