Judging by the number of downloads, the crew panel is pretty popular.
I am confident that as soon as Dan resurfaces (he's currently submerged in FsPX development), we'll see some extension to the FsP variables that can
be accessed by external modules, like my FsP L-variable code (that part of the Crew panel is actually written in C, not XML). When that happens, I
hope that Dan will collaborate with me so that we can provide a set of L-variables in a module, that actually ships with FsP(X). That way, every gauge
developer has a defined API to interact with FsP(X). Ideally, this would go so far that the current mini-display can be replaced with an XML gauge.
