how is the CH thottle? Is it nice for 2 engine jets? Can you set some levers for Spoilers, and flaps? If you can how is it?
If you look at mine, you'll see that I have the center 4 setup as throttles. The behind the detente of #1 is the reverse thrust so when I pull it
beyond 0, it puts all engines into reverse. If I'm using a twin engine, I pull the caps off 3 and 4 and push them to full to get them out of the
way.
On the ends, I have the left-most lever set to the speed brake and the right most, #6, to the flaps. These are set as axis controls in the FS
menu. You need to "feel" your way through each setting with the flaps. Pull it just enought to start the flap running (listen for it or watch
the indicator). For the speed brake, if you bring it back slowly, you will light up the "speed brake armed" indicator. Beyond that, it acts as
any control surface axis.
I also use the levers on the yoke - the mixture and prop levers remain if I want to fly a Cessna or something. The throrrle lever on the yoke
I have mapped to the elevator trim axis so, no more clicking buttons - just slide the lever. However, it is a VERY sensitive control so you
have to go easy on it.
There's also a set of s flip switches on the throttle unit which combine to act as 12 keystrokes. I have the left one mapped to parking
brake, the right to landing gear and the middle ones to 2D panels. The lower positions are for fuel control or start switches for the
engines.
It's a far cry from my old thrustmaster top gun afterburner, however I still pull that out for choppers - rarely.
