FS9 OR FSX

NO DOUBT! FSX!

I cannot believe people actually plan to keep using their FS 2004 over the all new FSX.
FSX is so much better in so many ways!

First of all the fantastic graphics and level of detail. Absolutely no comparisson to FS 2004, FSX is so much more detailed and much
better looking, that alone justifies buying it.. Not to mention the more sophisticated autogen engine and the beautiful animations that add
so much more life to the program.

You can see wildlife, i.e. I saw a Bear when delivering mail to an Alaskan remote outpost.

Then you got all the nice missions which add countless hours of enjoyment, and in a way they replace FSP meanwhile its not published.

The only downside, you need an extremely powerful PC. Even my PC (see below for details ) has problems on the Ultra High level, I have
to make some adjustments. And even then I have framerates of only 5-8 in mega dense surroundings like San Francisco Ground or
Tokyo Ground. On the other hand, flying in a not so densly populated area I do get frame rates from up to 30 fps.

If you have a Pentium with say 2 Ghz and a Radeon X800 Pro 256mb - forget about it! Yes, you can play it on minimum but thats about it.
So anyone who recommends you to stick with FS 2004 doesnt know what they are talking about!
