once you've reached at least FL160 turn them off. Don't do it as soon as you take off since you may experience some turbulences and
DONT DARE TO FORGOT THEM so your pax will not be very happy about it.
I would say that you may turn them on again not before descent since it sounds a little bit silly if you i.e are flying at FL360 you may take a
while to get final approach, I usually turn them on at 9000 feet +- if there is no turbulence at all
