Cost of aircraft

This question is a bit off topic but sorta relates. I see that in the money_currency.cfg file the exchange rates are wrong. If I were to change them
to what they are at the moment would it be ok to do so and what exactly would it change? Obviously from the answer above it wouldn't change the price
of aircraft if they are priced by weight but would it effect the price of oil or food and the such?
