Paul, this has been a sore spot for many users throughout the years (including myself), and much of the time there isn't a
definitive solution to it due to how FS9 and FSX were set up to begin with. Often times it's the matter of a person parking
near or on a helipad, using a modified AFCAD that has fouled up the parking spots, an addon scenery or another airfield close
by the intended destination. The best thing to do is open the GPS panel to see exactly where you are in relation to what's
depicted on the GPS map before setting the parking brake. I don't know if there is anything Dan can do about this, but it
wouldn't hurt if he commented on this as well.
