You are correct...anything possible can go wrong with FsPX and Win 7. For some it is hit or miss. I installed FsPX only after a fresh installation of
FSX 2 years ago and installed addon aircraft afterwards with no ill effects. I suppose I am one of the lucky ones.
When you uninstalled FsPX, did you make sure no folder remained in FSX relating to FsPX, and did you reboot your pc after uninstalling it? I'm sure
you did this but it never hurts to ask.
