I recently got the Series 1 download and it does affect frames more than I thought it would. Recently I changed my E8400 to a Q9650 quad core and
haven't used the Series 1 yet with this chip, but the E8400 (Oc'd 3.8 Ghz) could barely kick the frame rates to over 40 on average. That bird for some
reason eats the frame rates.
