Hello,
I have exactly the same problem, however the strange thing is that it happened today for the first time, although I haven't changed anything in FSX.
Every time there is an announcement FSX will freeze for the duration of the announcement and then it will continue without issues until the next one..
Strange thing is that up to yesterday it was working flawlessly and i have not changed anything.. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but now the
problem is constant.
Did you find a solution in your case?
My system specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 OC 3.6GHz, 4GB 1600 RAM, Intel X25-M SSDs and Raptor 150GB HDDs, nVidia GTX580, SB Fatality soundcard, Win7 x64, FSX Deluxe Accel.
The frustrating thing is that it started happening all of the sudden without me changing anything..
