How can the fact that there are two airports close to each other be a 'bug' of FsP? Also the alternatives you mentioned would cause the same failure.
Just admit that this is not the real world (and even then sometimes it goes wrong by human mistakes of the pilot) so there is no way to determine in
ALL possible situations that you actually landed at the correct location.
