I'm not sure if Dan went as far as to add this to the programming, but different airports have higher probablility of bird strikes. If you'll read
airport/facility directories, many of the airports have bird warnings associated with certain runways.

If Dan did in fact add higher percentage rates to airports, I would venture to say that the more rural the airport, the higher the probability of
wacking a feathered fowl.
