My Radeon 9800 Pro gave me a good 29.9fps into KLAX with max settings for most things, except AI. AI traffic is the killer. With the setting on very
low for this any computer is better and stutters are reduced. Stutters are usually more of a problem than framerates, in which case limiting the frame
rate is a good idea. This gives the program more time to put into loading 3D data in each frame rather than pumping out as many badly drawn frames as
it possibly. My setting is at 30fps locked. That's about the sweet spot.
