I don't understand why it's being changed in the first place. I like it just fine the way it is (ability to set planned arrival time in Zulu time). If
it's being changed, I probably won't upgrade (unless there's someother neat features in there :-)
In the real world, our days schedule is based on zulu time. Yes, we have printouts and such of the estimated flight time (and block time
for that matter), however my day is ran by the Zulu clock! For instance, I'll get up at 1200Z, have my first flight of the day at 1430Z, land at
1545Z, takeoff again on my second flight at 1615, land at 1845, takeoff at 1905, land at.... and on and on. I like the way the system is ran
now, as it allows for the delays that airlines occasionally incorporate into schedules. Look at all of SWA's flights into and out of PHL.
They're all 20 minutes (or more) longer that a flight of the same distance. Why is this? Does time move slower in PHL (when you're
sober it doesn't lol)? It's because PHL is plagued with frequent delays! In this case, when playing FSP I like to set the Z time, because
I'm not quite sure what the block is going to be exactly.
I'm sorry, I can't agree with either feature (perhaps we could choose how we set our arrival time? Either zulu or block?), however if I must
choose the less of two evils, it would be block time. Flight time is more for GA stuff, and I'm not really into that.
Let me know what everyone else thinks!
