From what I understand, the registered version of FSUIPC simply allows you to edit more options involved with more technical issues in
FS9. I played around with the unregistered version, and noticed that a lot of the "tabs" at the top of the FSUIPC screen were missing.
There were only two. Registering it simply allows you more control than the unregistered version.
I too agree that the price is a little high. As previously mentioned, $10 to $15 would have been reasonable. I purchased it originally
because I didn't know it worked unregistered. I though you had to buy it
Looking back on it, I'm glad I did register it though, simply
because of the extra control it offers.
I'm going to check out "FSMetar" as well... I'd love an external weather program, and I'm still not too sure about ASV.
